Trustees

The board of the Pamela Young Trust currently comprises four Trustees. Responsibilities include attendance at four quarterly meetings per year, alongside active participation via email and telephone where necessary. Trustees are not remunerated.

The purpose of the board is to provide governance to the charity:

• ensuring our charitable objectives are clear and provide benefit;
• ensuring our housing stock remains in good repair and is compliant with all current legislation;
• supporting responsible financial management.

All legal services are provided by A B & B Matthews, our investment portfolio is managed externally and we have a Factor who deals with all day-to-day matters relating to our houses and tenants.

The Trustees keep up-to-date with all charity and housing legislation, and are all covered by Directors and Officers liability insurance.
